Testimonies:
Here are just a few testimonies and sentiments that express the feelings about the difference the Academy is making in the lives of young girls......... "Biz Kidz Academy provides experiences that enhance the girls’ self-expression and confidence, which leads to enhanced self-esteem." We believe that “Life is better in community” which fosters spiritual development through: building relationships with others; laughing which enables them to share the beauty, light, and spirit carried within; and becoming people who “love one another”, thus embracing a powerful directive for spiritual formation. The girls “let their light shine, so others may see God.” Light and love, Rev. Sandra Trice Gray, Interdenominational Minister "We are very excited to be apart, learning different things like make clothes, posing for pictures, different things about hair and makeup, learning about the proper silverware to use, public speaking and writing stories. It's all been fun and meeting new friends that are nice to you. Can’t wait for the for the big fashion show. Jailah and Jailynn, Young Participants "It was both an honor and privilege to be the keynote speaker at the 2014 Le'Chic Academy Model Induction Ceremony. After hearing so many positive things about your group, I was quite anxious to meet each and every one of you in-person. Your big day was nothing short of amazing. Everyone was full of energy, smiles, laughter, and fun. You all welcomed me with open hugs! The entire presentation represented you and the woman you are becoming. Whether you received a sash or a crown, it was rewarding to present you with a symbol of your growth, hard work, and commitment. I am certainly proud of ail of your accomplishments and I am confident that you will keep that spirit. Continue to reach beyond the stars and you will be successful in all that you do” Charisse Licorish, Miss Caribbean Metro USA 2012 “This program is very inspiring. We know this will go well. You are such a good example for the young women.” Trudy Babchak, Assistant Director, Columbia Art Center "I'm very excited about everything that has happened and all the wonderful things that's about to happen. God has a great mission in the works. This is just the beginning. I am thankful and blessed that your wonderful daughter Ashley invited my daughter to the audition to be a part of this wonderful family that you have created. And blessed that you have allowed me to help where I can with your dream. “For some reason this has helped me as much as it has my baby girl. It has helped me grow and see things in myself that others have seen all along. You are truly a blessing and heaven sent Ms. Marlene!!!! Forever grateful to you and the Le'Chic family." Aretha Thomas, Volunteering Parent “We were blessed to be introduced to this opportunity not only for our daughters but for us. We have grown as well as seen growth with our family. We as the parents have meet wonderful people that can truly call family. Have learned multiple things that we can use daily in our adult life as well as things to help us with our daughters. We have seen both of their self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth grow tremendously and in only 1 year of time. We know that this is definitely something we will be a part of until the end. Thank you so much for blessing our family.” Love Conquers All Richard and Veronica Hill. Volunteering Parents |
